This is such a great book!  My almost 2-year-old daughter brings this book to me all the time to read.  There's plenty to look at and talk about on each page, and I like the rhyming flow to it.  So far, I'm not tired of reading it to her (parents, you know what I'm talking about).  

My almost 2 yo loves this book and is engaging in counting the objects much earlier than I would have expected.  The rhyming is beautiful, the pictures are fun to explore, and I'm always pleased when she chooses this book!

Great illustrations and a fun yet educational read!

My girls (ages 2 & 4) adore this book. The illustrations are so beautiful and we enjoy taking our time as we read through the book - pointing out the fish or the colors on the book. I love the rhyming and counting aspect. I know this is one we'll return to again and again!

This is so much more than a counting book. It has great illustrations and smoothly flowing story. It's all numbers and all story, simultaneously! Love it.

Beautiful, engaging, & easy to read before bed. My 4 year old daughter LOVES this one. She counts the objects on each page. I enjoy that there is still a sweet story line about the mother & her son - not just lets count to 10! Definitely one we will be keeping around for a long time!

This is a cute little story about the adventures of a mother and her son that my son and I can closely relate to. It has a fun rhyme scheme that makes reading along fun. It closes in away that makes it a great bedtime story. We definitely recommend!

My son is a bit younger, but enjoys this book. I think it’s a must have for any family library.

My 17mo has loved helping me turn the pages in this book for months on end. It is one of our favorite reads. The artwork is beautiful, calming, and reminds me of fun sea side vacations when I was growing up. Love this book and it will be a one we turn to for years to come.

These are super cute. Fun story of mom, son and dog who go to the beach, what they see and count along the way. The Rhymes are great and my son can finish each line. Pretty Illustrations too!

My 3 yr old grandson and I read this book about 15 times when I brought it last weekend  for  his birthday.  He counted the items.  The illustrations provided so much more to talk about because we could see the mom's basket and some items in it but we couldn't tell what.  By the end of the book, we knew what everything was through the pictures!  What a great book that generates a lot of discussion with a child that read with me with gusto!
