I love this book! Each experiment is explained clearly and shows pictures for every step, significantly helping the process along, especially if you have the kids going at it alone. It covers all area of science, physical, biological, light, electricity, air, and so much more. Also, each page has Internet links that discuss the science behind it even more, making it perfect for expansion into a science fair project.
     My favorite one is the battery bug shown on the front cover. You touch the guy to something metal and it completes the circuit lighting up his nose! Awesome!

My son absolutely loves this book. In fact, he will read the book all day to figure out which is his favorite.  He plans which one he wants to do. The items needed are usually easy for him to find. However, even if they are not close by and he has to wait, he still enjoys reading it just for the sake of reading.

My 9 yo daughter received this book for Christmas along with a whole tub of supplies needed for some of the experiments. There were common things like rubber bands, paperclips, and construction paper, but they also put in a few harder to find items specific to experiments they thought she would really enjoy like modeling clay, a small spool of wire, and popsicle sticks. It was such a cute gift idea, and she had everything she needed to get started!
