We loved Ted and Friends, which was the first combined volume of phonic readers. So we were so excited when this new combined volume came out because it has all the newer phonic readers in it. One of our current favorites is Bee Makes Tea! Your family will enjoy this book for a very long time.

My 6 year old is just beginning to read. This is perfect for her she is engaged and enjoys reading the stories in this collection.

Stories and graphics are wonderful and each seems like there is a lesson. The only thing I wished it had is a CD so children can listen and follow along by themselves or car rides. Great price!

My 2 and 4YO boys love this book.  They love to read along and the illustrations are great.  I wish Usborne made a second combined volume of some of the other the phonics readers!

My 5 year old was doing great with reading her sight words and beginning to sound out other words as well and these books have really helped her develop her reading skills. The rhyming text of each story is  helping her quickly pick up words and actually remember the content she is reading, which is crucial instead of just reading the words she is comprehending the stories as well!

My daughter,age two, has loved this book from day one. It has perfect little stories that hold attention via rhyming words, beautiful illustrations and quick to read pages. As if that wasn't enough, this book will be perfect for her as she starts to read on her own. I forsee us buying Raccoon On The Moon And Other Tales as well.

We love these phonics books and this one is no different. It is a funny story with great illustrations and a focus on the phonics sounds. Great for early readers and younger listeners.

We absolutely love this book!  The stories are silly and fun.  As a previous literacy specialist, the phonics skills taught throughout this book are so important for beginning readers.  There are even activity suggestions at the end of the book.  My 3 year old wants to read this book every night.  Her favorites are Bee Makes Tea and Croc Gets a Shock.  She even "reads" the stories on her own using the pictures.  This is definitely a must-have!  

I suggest adding this gem of a book to your child's library. Great for early reading and word recognition. I wish I knew about this book sooner, but at 2 1/2 year old my daughter has made leap and bounds in comprehension after reading this book for the first two months. The great part is if your child depends on repetitive and rhythmic type pace in a book please don't hesitate to purchase.

We purchased this set because it has the QR code. My kids LOVE the audio book feature (I think I love it more because it keeps them happily entertained). However, the quality of the audio is poor which is a bummer. Also, it does not play them all one after the other. It would be nice if you could choose which story to play and also have a choice to play them all one after the other so that I don't have to monitor the reading as closely or go start a new one every 3 minutes.

If you have kids who aren't quite reading yet, but LOVE books or kids who are just starting to read on their own, this book is great! I just wish the quality of the audio was a little better. Hoping this can be fixed?
