Simply adorable!
This book captures the attentions of all the children I have shared it with! Delightful Nibbles character is on the loose chewing through some well known classics! I love the books that are within the book! What a simply creative and clever idea to introduce children to the classics in a fun way! You can not go wrong by owning this book nor gifting it!

New favorite book in our family!
I read Nibbles to my son tonight when I showed him our new book and he was SO into the book as I read it and immediately after I finished it he looked at me and said "mommy again" and so I read it again! After the second time I said, "isn't that awesome" and he gave the biggest "YES"!

It's about this adorable little monster called Nibbles who NIBBLES his way out of his own book and into the stories of other books. There are actually other little "books" inside this one where Nibbles changes up the story and the characters are wondering why he is in their story. It's simply genius!

Caused My 9-Year-Old to Swoon
My son almost hyperventilated when I showed him this book . . . and that was BEFORE he knew about the accompanying Nibbles plush!  I won't summarize what people already said in the other reviews.  Just get the book already!

The absolute best!
My 2 and 6 year old can't get enough of this book!  Every time we read it they immediately ask for it again, and my six year old keeps finding details in the illustrations that I *love,* and she's making the effort to read it to her little brother even though it's way above her reading level.  It's a great introduction to fractured fairy tales, and appeals to a huge range of ages - great for reading aloud to young kids as well as independent reading for older kids.  Definitely a good pick for a picture book for older readers, and would make a great gift (especially with the matching plush)!

ADORABLE
This book is just plain adorable!  The way Nibbles chews through the different fairy tales, slightly changing each story is hilarious.  Even my older kids were getting a kick out of it!

Cutie, cute cute!
We just received our Nibbles book in the mail today and I read it with my 8-year-old who much prefers chapter books over picture books. At the end of it, he was giggling and says, "Mama, that might be one of my favorites. I love it!" Highly recommend this book for kids (and parents) of all ages. Simply heart-warming and silly and lots and lots of fun!

Love!
We love this book! My baby is too young for it but my 3 year old niece thinks it's so funny. She loves how at the end of the book you can close the crate and capture Nibbles. Then, when he escapes on the next page she says, "Oh no!" This is going to be a classic and a book you hand down to your kids for their kids. It's adorable!

I've Never Seen Anything Else Like It
This is truly a special book that will be enjoyed by all!  The different sized pages and the "nibbles" in the pages are amazing attention getters even before you start reading the super cute story.  Love it!

Fantastic!
This book is everything the other reviews say it is and has quickly become a favorite of my 3-1/2 y-o son. Great way to bring us classic stories with funny little anecdotes throughout.
It MUST be said that this book is BEAUTIFUL. The interesting page art and design, "books" inside, and little holes munched throughout with images perfectly placed made me realize that it is well worth the price.

Our Family Favorite!

My kids are in love!!
This is a huge favorite in our house!!! My kids esp love getting to release Nibbles out of his cage in the beginning. and locking him back up at the end. LOVE this book!!!

SO CUTE!!!
I got this for my 4 year old, but my 10 year old daughter and her BFF snagged the book before the 4 year old even had a chance.  "awesome! I recommend this to anybody" "I recommend this to EVERYbody!"  Unique, clever, fun, engaging...adorable!  Nibbles is his own character who enters stories we're familiar with and changes them just by his existence.  Very special.  A great gift for any child...I may just have to order the Nibbles plush!  :-D

What can I say?
That hasn't already been said by others? This book is quickly becoming one of my three year old's favorites and she yells to me "Mom, Mom, he got out! Again!!" Every time she finishes going through it. I love the different layers of this book, so much care and effort went into making it look like there are other books inside of this one. It is an adorable book and you must get it.

Hilarious!
Nibbles is hilarious! My kindergartener loves Nibbles. We have the book and the monster. My child sleeps with Nibbles every night and he is usually on the floor by morning. Now when I look under the bed for monsters, I find a cute little Nibbles. We have had Nibbles for a couple months and we still read it almost every night at bedtime.
I read this to my son's kindergarten classroom. The kids wanted me to read it again. The teacher told them she would get it for the classroom.

The Best Book Ever
My 4 year old was delighted when we read this book.  All the giggles intrigued her 12 year old sister enough that she came in and read it with little sister. The were rolling in the floor laughing at the mischief that Nibbles gets into. Would love to see another book on Nibbles!

Need to create a nibbles series
Such a wonderful book! My daughter has to read this every night. She has a lot of it memorized after the first time. Such a cute rhyming start and then love how nibbles eats through the books and changes the stories. Definitely think there should be more nibbles books. I know for sure I would get them as my 5 year old daughter loves this book. I also wish there was a way to purchase nibbles plush with the book in a bundle.

A must have!!
This is one of our most beloved books to date. What a creative way to tell a story! we have had this book for about a week and have read it at least a dozen time already!! I really hope this author writes more Nibbles books because I would buy them all! I really cannot say enough about Nibbles!

Fun and interactive
My children love how Nibbles chews through different stories in the book and that the pages have holes in them.  I love how the pages are different sizes and there are short versions of classics in the story.  Very cute story and I would recommend to anyone.

Kids of many ages will LOVE this book.
My 5 and 3 year old love this book---  not only do they love the book and ask to read it often but they after finishing the book, they love to search other kids books to see if they can find where nibbles has nibbled off to next. It gets them into other books. Win-win!  It really is so great for their imaginations. We also read it to our 7 and 8 year old cousins and they were just as in love with it.  Such a fun creative book!  I need to get the plush now!

Our Favorite!
My daughter and I absolutely love this book!  It is one of our favorites! It is such a cleverly written and illustrated interactive book about a book eating monster. As he eats through the pages of various fairy tales, the familiar version of each story is altered. The new versions provide a comedic read aloud. My daughter bursts out in laughter every time we read this book. It's a great story to teach or model reading with expression. If you can't decide which book to purchase, I strongly recommend this one!

Nibbles Rocks
Nibbles is so creative and touches on so many classic children's stories! The construction of the book is really remarkably innovative! There are things to discuss and find throughout the book!

Too much fun!
This book is seriously SO fun to read aloud. It keeps all 4 of my kids engaged (ages 9, 8, 6 and 10 months), and is fun for me too ;) The pages are nice and thick, very durable. Definitely a must-have.

Our new family favorite!
Nibbles the Book Monster is so unique and different from any other children's book we have come across thus far. My 3 & 5 year old daughter's love it and it's one they ask for over and over again. Hearing them laugh and enjoy a book so much a a great joy! This is a must have for every family.

Love this book!
I purchased this book along with the plush for my daughter who is 5. I hadn't read nor seen the inside, but figured with the plus it could be a fun story. I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!! Not just her or my son, but I love this book. When we started reading it for the first time, we were all curious about what would happen. And, when Nibble started his munching my daughter went crazy. She wont put the plush down, because he will each everything. This book is by far one of my top 5 from Usborne.

So Stinkin' Cute
I got this for my 2nd grade class, and they absolutely LOVE this book! We were all cracking up the first time I read it to them. They LOVED the cool flaps for each story he nibbled through and they were very eager that I hurry and close the cage on him toward the end! Nibbles is a new favorite character of ours. Wish there were more books of him! ;)

Family Favorite
Nibbles is an amazing story! Our boys love reading it, and also enjoy their plush! Fun, exciting, and great for story time! We gave it as a gift for our first grader's teacher in hopes that it would assist in some fun creative writing activities (what story would you choose for Nibbles to cause mischief in?), along as fun for story time. The design of the story is simply beautiful and creative! A must have for all home libraries!

Nibbles is Awesome!
We LOVE Nibbles!  It took incredible ingenuity to create this book!  I love all the "books within the book" that nibbles chews through.  It captures my children's imaginations!  They even love looking at the book over and over to see what all he "nibbled on" that they hadn't noticed before.  To make this even more fun, we use  the Nibbles plush like and elf on the shelf.  The ending of the books is the perfect setup for this!  He gets into all kinds of things around our house and my kids love finding him and then putting him back in his cage.

Rambunctious Two Year Old
LOVE THIS BOOK!

My two year old dislikes when we read books together and typically can not stay focused long enough to enjoy a book, but this book kept his attention and now he wants to read it ALL THE TIME! I love that we have finally found a book he enjoys!

So much fun!!!

Great concept, but lacking
Nibbles was the book I was most excited for in my last order but found myself a bit disappointed.  The concept was amazing and the book itself is so cute with the cut outs, books that open within the book etc. BUT, I found the story line a bit lacking and choppy to read as Nibbles chews from book to book.  With that said, my kids still enjoy reading it.  I was just hoping for something a little more.

Can't get enough Nibbles
My girls love this book so much!  We read it over & over again, plus they love the little interactive elements to the story as well.  Great way to introduce some classics, even asking your children what normally happens in the story.  I have recommended it to countless friends and family, who all love it as well. We have the cute plush as well that likes to read along with us (and eat the pages).

A must have for all homes!
If I could pick one book and one book only in the Usborne catalog to have it would be this one!   Nibbles is such a silly, little character who makes my 2 year old son laugh all throughout the book!  While this book is geared for older kids 4-7, I really feel all ages can enjoy it!

For anyone who has not read or heard of Nibbles, this book is a MUST read and MUST have for every household!!! He is the cutest monster ever and chomps his way into and 'through' some great classics. The absolute best part...you can get the AWESOME Nibbles Plush to go with the story. What kid does not like to read with a friend!!!

My daughter absolutely loves this story.  It is so fun to hear about a "monster" that is so adorable that nibbles books!  The pages are so filled with detail that we find something new every time we read it.  It is an absolute favorite of hers that she had to have me read it when I was mystery reader for her class.  The whole class cheered and loved it!

Adorably Destructive
I'm not ashamed to admit, I look forward to my little man asking me if I can read him a book, and secretly hope this is the book he pulls off the shelf. Nibbles is an inspired introduction into several beloved fairytales. The dialogue is hysterical. My boys love this book and I love reading it to them. I recommend this book to everyone!

Nibbles is SO Interactive and Fun!
Nibbles the Monster is adorable and fun for all ages. My 4 year old nephew loves it, and so do my older kids. Nibbles chews his way through some of the most well known children's stories, within the book, and he is so mischievous and fun. The pages are beautifully illustrated, bold and colorful, and have artistically placed Nibbles on almost every page. The main story is well written, and captures the attention of all ages. Add a plush, and create a fun scavenger hunt for classrooms and playgroups. Amazing.

My new favorite
When I first heard about Nibbles I knew I had to have my own. I read the story to my daughter ( 9 months). And though she only listened to some. I fell in love with this story and know she will to once she is older. :) It's a great way to share some old classic stories with a new friend.

This is my favorite Usborne book!  Nibbles is running his way through classic fairy tales and causing the stories to go bonkers!  The mini pages within this book are so fun and you just cant wait to see if Nibbles will be caught!

Takes You On an Adventure!
Watch out! You have to keep your eyes on Nibbles or he will escape to change the fate of your favorite characters! My students ask for this book weekly! They are always engaged and love finding Nibbles on every page as he makes his great escapes into other classic tales and makes them his own.

As a teacher, I love this book! Not only does it get my kids excited for reading, but it engages them in the story. I use this book to talk about perspectives in reading and I use it to teach creating original story lines in their writing. I also use the plush to have the students help me re-write other stories that we love in our classroom. I know that you will love Nibbles: The Book Monster just as much as we have!

Amazing book!
This is once of the best books I have ever read! My daughter absolutely loves Nibbles she sleeps with her plush and we read this book at least daily! I love how it incorporates other stories into the book and it is so well thought out! We can't wait to see where Nibbles goes next!

I see what the hype is about!

Family favorite
My kids ask to read this book every single night! It is so much fun and such a sweet little story! Buy the plush with it and it makes it highly interactive (think of using Nibbles like you would Elf on the shelf the morning after reading this book). I highly recommend this!!!!

Easily became an instant favorite
My three year old LOVES Nibbles. Since we received the book, we've read it at LEAST once a day. Very interactive and a book like none other. Fun for adults too to recall old fairy tales!

Kind of choppy, but very cute
This book is incredibly cute, and my 2 year old loves nibbles. The flaps are very fun with beautiful artwork. It's just kinda choppy to read. I was expecting better after reading so many fantastic reviews. All in all, though, it's still a favorite book in our house

Didn’t live up to the hype
I was so excited to receive this book. The pages are beautiful, but the story leaves much to be desired. To me it reads more like a comic book, which is fine if you like that sort of thing. If I’d had the opportunity to read this book before purchasing it, I would not have done so.

Instantly fell in love
  We got this book at the beginning of the week, my four year old LOVES it!  That is putting it mildly.  He carries it around every where with him.  We had a play date yesterday and he kept talking about "Nidddles", they had no clue what he was talking about, so we had to break out the book!  Watching Nibbles eat his way through the book is a fun story and hilarious to preschoolers!  I can not wait to get him the plush to go with the book now!

Should come with an addiction warning!
Every kiddo I know who has read this book has loved it! It's so imaginative and unique! Nibbles chews his way through the book and ends up in a few stories along the way. I can't believe the quality for the price! I would have expected it to cost more.

So engaging!
My kids ADORE this book! The story is engaging and fun with the bonus of some peeks at other classic stories in the mix. One of them even wanted to make a Nibbles pumpkin for Halloween this year!

So much fun!
I recently received this book and read it to my second grade classes. They can’t get enough of Nibbles. 5ey are always asking me if they can read Nibbles again!  I love hearing their reaction, especially after all of the heartache after Hurricane Harvey!  They are wanting a 3rd book and are also asking me where I got the book. My students want to buy it off of me.

Our new favorite!
Nibbles is a must have! We're new to Usborne Books & More and Nibbles was the book that got us hooked. We thought it was so cool, there are actually holes in the book! The pages are different sizes, there's flaps. What a funny, entertaining book! Chase Nibbles as he escapes from book to book- I really hope there's more books to come!

Our favorite non-Usborne book series is the Pigeon series by Mo Willems and this is a very similar approach to a story.

Hilarious Addition!
My kids love Nibbles and I love the low-key way to introduce them to the stories that Nibbles nibbles through.  Short, witty, and fast paced makes this book an excellent addition to anyone's library.

Says 6+ but younger kids will love it too!
The specifications say 6+ but my 2.5 year old LOVES this book! Its interactive and captivating, it kept even his rambunctious self sitting still and listening!

Not my favorite...
After all the hype I have heard I was expecting something AMAZING but it was just okay. Honestly, I would not have bought this book had I read it before. It is long and doesn't have a very good flow - very choppy. I do love the concept of this book, but it really isn't my favorite.

Nibbles
Everyone I know who has bought Nibbles for their kids are absolutely in love with it. So unique and funny! He nibbles his way through classic fairy tales and changes them as he goes.  Its a great bedtime book. Enough on each page to make it last, but not too long so your bedtime story doesn't turn into 2 hours. Until they ask you to read it again and again ;)

We LOVE Nibbles!!
We absolutely LOVE Nibbles! When we got the book, I think we read it 8 times in a row? And many times since then! One of my children's favorite features is the books within the book, it adds such a fun element to the story and keeps little ones engaged throughout. My very next order included the Nibbles Dinosaur Guide and plush!

Fantastic Adventures!!!
My kids not only want me to read this EVERY night, it's one they "read" on their own over and over. My kids range from 1-5 and they all love the interaction with the flaps and trying to find where Nibbles goes next.

Worth every penny
It took me a long time to take the plunge and finally get this book. I couldn't justify spending $17 dollars on a childrens book. I mean what could possibly be so special about this title that the price was so much higher? I finally got it after earning some free books from a party. My boys and I are so GLAD this is finally on our bookshelf. It is funny and creatively illustrated. It is a favorite for both of my boys (7 and 3).

Nibbles was delivered yesterday. So far, I have read this adorable, hilarious book to my 4 & 9-year-olds maybe 6 or 7 times. We love it! I love how it draws them in and encourages interactivity. You MUST add this title to your library!

A favorite
Creatively and well done!  My 5 yr old believed the book monster is out munching on other books :)  I see both kids following the footprints inside the pages.  Highly recommend this one.

New Favorite
This book is so engaging. My 3 year old loves Nibbles! WE also got the plush and it just brings the little guy to life. There is a page that 'catches' Nibbles and the giggling that setting him loose causes just is the best thing in the world.  Highly recommend with the plush!

We love Nibbles!!
I got “Nibbles” in a couple of weeks ago and read it to my 6 year old and 2 year old and we all LOVED it!! My 6 year old was cracking up and said in the middle of us reading it, “I love this book!!” Even my 2 year old was into it and liked finding Nibbles hiding on all of the pages. My 6 year old wanted to read it again immediately after we finished, so we did and they both loved it just the same as the first time we read it! He also wanted to read some sentences himself and I love when he is that excited about a book that he wants to read by himself without me asking him to. “Nibbles” is surely a favorite in our house!!

Family Favorite
My kids NEVER tire of this adorable book!  I would say 3+ for the age.  Nibbles the book monster eats actual holes through the pages of this delightful book and into some beloved fairy tales.  My kids love how he messes up the stories and also searching for him throughout the book.  To make the book even more fun, get the Nibbles plush and hide him somewhere for your kids to find after you finish reading the book, OR pretend to have the plush nibble as you read it.

Unique and fun book!

Cute, but very choppy and confusing
I'm really confused by the abundance of 5 star reviews.  The illustrations are great, and the idea that Nibbles physically chomps his way through a bunch of books is really cute.  My daughters (3 and 1) LOVE this book, I think in part because of the couple flaps and the holes in the pages.  I had high hopes for this book but it is extremely irritating to read because it is SO choppy.  Nibbles goes through Goldilocks, Little Red Riding Hood, and Jack and the Beanstalk.  If you know those stories already than the Nibbles versions make more sense.  But these are very fractured/abbreviated versions of those stores and it's weird.  The "back" of each "book" has a synopsis and it's just plain odd to read the more detailed summary after you've already gone through the choppy story.  I love that my girls enjoy this book but I really don't like reading it.  My sister got the book and didn't even finish reading it because the format was so annoying.  It just doesn't quite flow like I was expecting.

Fun even for the younger crowd!
My 2 year old girl and 5 year old boy adore this book.  They are always amazed at how nibbles leaves "holes" in the book everywhere he goes.  The interactive "jail" door is fun also, since they get to help capture nibbles.

Book inception for kids :)
My kids (4 and 2) both enjoy listening to me read this story as well as following along where Nibbles eats through the pages and into new books.  The book-within-book concept is truly delightful, even for adults!  One word of caution, the flaps aren't sturdy at all so if you're looking at this with littles, be prepared for rips and tears.  My 2yo son ripped the very first flap in half.  I've now learned to keep this book on the high shelf and we have to read it together, supervised, to prevent any more tears.

My sons favorite!
We just absolutely love the books we have read by Emma Yarlett! Nibbles is seriously one of those books that take a turn and you never know where its going but it always ends somewhere fun! We absolutely love this little book monster! I mean who wouldnt!? (Weight-heavier with each book😂) if you haven't read Dinosaur Guide get that next!

Great Book!
My son loves this book! He is very active so it can be hard to keep him focused on books especially. But he adores reading the Nibbles books and wants to read them over and over again!!

Little monster mischief
This is such a fun story that follows a mischievous little nibbler! I like th rides behind the story. My daughter likes to feel the holes in the pages that Nibbles has nibbled his way through! There are so many fun ways to engage students in this story as well.

My son was given this book when he turned 3.  He absolutely adores Nibbles. Now, a year later he is trying to collect all the books and can't wait to continue on Nibbles adventures!!! highly recommend this for all ages for kids

High quality
Got this for my 6 year old after reading rave reviews, but I was a little worried she may be too old for it. She LOVES it! I love the high quality of the pages and uniqueness of the books within a book. She loves that and also loves the cute story. Her favorite of the stack of books I got!

Fun book for all readers
This book is so well done. The illustrations are fun and there are neat features like Nibbles' crate, the holes he nibbles, etc. Such a fun book, highly recommend!

Our new favorite monster
We absolutely love this book. My little one loves the books inside of a book concept and giggles everytime he sees the pages that Nibbles has nibbled. Definitely a book that has kept his attention. It's still one of his favorites for bedtime after several months.

Nibbles Never Disappoints
Our family loves this Nibbles storybook! I have a ten year old, twins who are 8, and a 2 year old. All love to sit and giggle as we read through this story. Following Nibbles on his adventure as he chews his way through your book always entertains us!! May I add, the feel of the book is nice and solid. The pages are a little thicker than a standard book page. And the additional flaps and cut outs really add some uniqueness to this book that you just can’t find in stores!

So Fun
Mason begged me to buy this book from our book lady. Thankfully, our book lady loves my kids and let me take one of her own books (which I bought). Mason then begged me to read it to him while we snuggled in his bed before bed that very day. He has been learning about fairytales in kindergarten so this book was perfect to read aloud. This book is so fun and he had so much fun listening to me read it aloud. It's an easy book to read aloud. The illustrations in this book are so colorful and so unique. This book is worth checking out for your reading children.

My Toddlers Favorite

Love at first sight!
My almost 3-year-old is obsessed with this book. We are reading it with him 3x a day since he got it. We love the story, the mini books in the book, the texture of the nibbled holes, and it has interactive pages. It is a great story and a unique book. I highly recommend it!

Perfection
Cannot say enough good about the storyline, illustrations, and interactive qualities of this book. And NIBBLES is literally the funnest!! My girls love all things Nibbles, and this book is an awesome read for story time, or bedtime! And honestly, I usually hate reading books over and over, but my daughter will request this one 5 times in a row and it’s so much fun every time! We love Nibbles!

Long time favorite
This book has been a favorite since our daughter was 2. She is now 6 and STILL gets as much joy out of it. It is definitely a family favorite. As a parent I often get tired of reading books over and over...not this one! So fun!

Fun tip...when reading the last page, tap your fingernails on the back of the book to make it sound like nibbles is back there. Makes my daughter laugh every time. CUTE BOOK!

Nibbles is number 1
When I first read Nibbles the book monster I wasn’t sure what I was in for. As I read, I found a wonderfully written book and Amazing illustrations. This book is great for children of all ages.
I feel. I recommend it to a lot of my customers because I know that once they read this book they are gonna fall in love with the whole Nibbles the book monster series!!!

We love Nibbles!
My son loves to follow Nibbles little footsteps and find where he's gone and loves how he changes up classic fairytales that he's already familar with. We love the entire Nibbles series, but there is just something magical about the book that started it all :)
