a hilarious way to make monsters more fun and friendly, and hopefully alleviate fears of the dark and bedtime! i can't wait to read the rest of this series!

My son can't wait to get the rest of the series! This is a perfect chapter book to get reluctant readers to boost their confidence!

My son is reading this book right now, laughing and yelling out things like, "that's not scary!"  This is the second Billy and the Mini Monsters he has read (both today) and he loves both; they're the first chapter books he has ever read more than 2 pages of. I'm hoping the content will help him with his fear of the dark and shadows.  The pages are colorful and fun, the book is funny, and some of the illustrations resemble comic books.

My 8 yr old has fought me tooth & nail when it comes to reading chapter books....until now! He has read the allotted time today and yesterday with no complaints and just said "Where is my book? I want to read more!" He's going to finish this book soon. I'm glad I bought the whole series! Yay!

Both my daughters LOVE this series!  My 6th grader read the first two to my kindergartner as she took a bath and they were disappointed I didn't have more  for them so I'd definitely recommend picking up the collection, there's a little price break and you WILL want to read them all!

My 6 year old son loves Billy and the Mini Monsters. He is an advanced reader, so can already read chapter books. Being a six year old, he also likes bright pictures and fun stories. These are the perfect books for him. The pages are glossy and have colorful graphic novel/comic strip details throughout. The story was interesting and the illustrations captured his imagination. Can’t wait to get all of the books in the series l.

My daughter was belly laughing at this book. We loved it so much, we immediately ordered the rest of the series, and we are having so much fun reading these books. I hope they publish more of them!

Billy and the Mini-Monsters was a little scary at first (monsters in the dark!) but the humor of the "toots" overcame the fear of the book and my boys are greatly enjoying this series. It's a fantastic chapter book series for newer readers.

My 6 year old loves to share these books with his friends.  I have had to re-buy this book a few times because he keeps giving them away.

I also thought we could read one to two chapters each night before bed. Oh boy I was BLOWN away we read the entire book the night we got it and many times since! He loved the characters and illustrations and it seriously helped him with his fear of the dark. I was amazed 100% recommend!! We will be buying the rest of this series for sure!

My 7 year old loved this book. He's been a bit of a reluctant reader, but I found him asking me before bedtime "What do you think's going to happen to Billy?" and he actually would ask to finish the chapter if it took him longer than his "required 15 minutes." That's huge for me. He said he wants to get more in the series, but his birthday's still over 6 months away (got him this book for Christmas).

My Niece is 5 and I have all these books! When she comes over we always read at least one of them. It would be awesome if there were some mini plush

My son turned 7 today and I bought him these books in the hope of easing him into more advanced books.   He has read all the Piggie and Gerald series, and the fly guy series, and I wanted to step it up but not overwhelm him.   This book was perfect.  I expected him to read 1 out of the 6 chapters a night.  He insisted on reading the whole book in one setting!  He has never read this long before!  The pictures are great and he loved getting to know the monsters and all their names.  I loved how they would switch up the pages between Billy narrating the story to the comic style pages when the monsters were doing the talking.  Great read for 1st grader, 6-7 year old.  He has already asked for the rest in the series.  

My 7 & 3 year old LOVE this series!!!! This is the first book that my 7 year old sat down to read without being asked. And then she read for 30 minutes without me prodding her to continue. What's more is my 3 year old sat there the entire time listening!  They love these books and have asked for the entire series.  

My 6yr old LOVES this series. I enjoy reading it with her. The format is easy for her to follow and there aren't too many words on each page so she gets frustrated or bored.

I discovered this book when looking for something that my then reluctant 7 year old reader who has dyslexia could try out. He loved the engaging pictures, humor, and relatively easy text. There are only a few lines on each page also. We now own most of the books in the series. My now 9 year old son still likes looking back at these books every now and then and will read them aloud to his younger brother who is 4.

My kids (ages 6, 4, & 3) all LOVE this book! It is so cute and fun to read. We can't wait to get more books in this series!
