This book was such a waste of money. It is advertised as a fun STEAM book. It poses questions without any context clues that you can't possibly answer from the "story" (lame and basically non-existent) or the illustrations.  At the end you get an answer sheet of made up answers that will not help your child come to any scientific logical conclusions.  I LOVE usborne books and have never left a bad review but this book is confusing.  I cannot imagine what age or what personality of a child would enjoy this. I don't even want to give this book away to a charity shop. The math may be factual but getting to the answers was not attainable. If I could give this zero stars I would.

I agree with the previous review.  This book was lacking in quality and coherent answers.  The story line didn't make much sense unfortunately.

I love the concept of including mathematics into a kid’s story. My kids are a bit young to fully grasp the concepts but we love this book. It’s such a fun story and a great introduction to concepts.

My kids and I actually love this book. The math is quite advanced but the story is good especially if your kids are into pirates and robots. I like that it mixes various math concepts and space science in the book. It starts as a goofy story and gradually becomes heartwarming and even brings tears to my eyes. I can see that we will read this book for years.

This one was an unfortunate miss from the catalog.  I don't understand it.  I felt like I was missing an instruction page that was supposed to accompany the story (or lack there of).  Skip this one, and choose from the hundreds of other better choices.
